Snappers are found in all oceans of tropical and subtropical regions. Snappers are sought after mainly for their delicious table fare and especially the red snapper. Snappers are commonly caught dropping down dead or live bait and normally range in the 1 to 2 feet length. The Cubera snapper is the largest of all snappers and has been recorded up to 63" in length. The American Red Snapper is a common topic of discussion due to the poor management by officials claiming that their stocks are depleted when all anglers are aware that they are so abundant it's not even funny and at times hard to catch other fish due to the amount of Red Snappers on each wreck or reef.

Everything you see while the Snapper full mount is hanging on the wall is painted. The backside of the mount that is touching the wall or not viewable is actually painted black. Snapper half mounts are anatomically correct half fish replicas that are intended to be displayed on the wall. A half-sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two-sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount.

This allows for easy and quick installation. Pedestal mounting is an available option, this add on is necessary when using our products for addition to signs, displays or other interior or outdoor use. Pricing for the pedestal option is based on a per project basis.
