73" Sailfish Half Mount

Fish Mount Guarantee This 73" right facing sailfish half mount is part of our half sided series and has been positioned with the dorsal sail partially folded down. This half mount replicates a sailfish in the 35 to 40 pound range and was measured at 73 inches in overall length from tip of bill to end of tail. A half sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount.

Sailfish Mount Paint Schedule

We paint our sailfish to look "lit up" and alive as if it was swimming on your wall. Bright cobalt blue dorsal sail with a hint of purple, a bronze side band, electric baby blue vertical bands and a nice iridescent blue on his back makes this beautiful sailfish a perfect piece of decoration for your new house, office or Florida room. Like other fish, Sailfish can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job includes the above mentioned features. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. We do not custom paint our half sided series replicas.

Half Mount Installation

Each fish mount in our half sided series arrives with a fiberglass hanger on the backside of the fish mount. This allows easy installation once you receive your new fish mount.

This is the largest sailfish half mount we can ship using standard ground delivery. The box is nearly 6.5 feet by about 30 inches wide and about 10 inches deep.
