40" Sailfish Fish Mount - Ripped Sail

Fish Mount Guarantee This beautiful 40" right facing sailfish fish mount is part of our half sided series and is a nice decor size piece showcasing a ripped sail. This half sided fish mount replicates a juvenile sailfish and produced more for decor than a celebration of a catch as often smaller sailfish cannot get an entire bait into their mouths and anglers miss the bite. A half sided fish mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount.

Sailfish Fish Mount Paint Schedule

We paint our sailfish mounts to look "lit up" and alive as if it was swimming on your wall. Bright cobalt blue dorsal sail with a hint of purple, a bronze side band, electric baby blue vertical bands and a nice iridescent blue on his back makes this beautiful sailfish a perfect piece of decoration for your new house, office or Florida room. Like other fish, Sailfish can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job includes the above mentioned features. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. We do not custom paint our half sided series replicas.

Sailfish Replica Installation

Each fish mount in our half sided series arrives with a fiberglass hanger on the backside of the fish mount. This allows easy installation once you receive your new fish replica.
