Roosterfish are commonly caught in Central and South America along shorelines and rock structure. Their muscular body makes them the perfect gamefish as they fight extremely hard.
All of our two sided Roosterfish full mounts are made of fiberglass for a lifetime of enjoyment and are hand crafted to represent the fish you caught or to showcase the fishes alive and lit up look as if it was swimming in the ocean. If you are purchasing a Roosterfish full mount to commemorate a catch, we encourage you to send a picture of your catch. We custom paint our Roosterfish full mounts and we even custom paint our eyes to give a realistic look to your new trophy. Our production team even takes the time to notch out rips and tears that your Roosterfish might have. For customers who do not have a photograph or are just purchasing for decoration; their colors can range from olive green to iridescent blue on their backs with silver sides and long sweeping black markings from back curving down toward tail. The dorsal comb can range from completely black to include yellowish, brown or green streaks. The final step is to clear coat the Roosterfish with a UV Protectant Urethane clear coat.
Our Roosterfish half mounts are produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount.
Our 3D Roosterfish fish mounts are intended to be suspended from the ceiling and are completely finished on all sides for 360 degree viewing. 3D fish mount replicas are suspended by attaching either a heavy monofilament, string or light gauge wire to small holes in the top dorsal fin and top portion of the tail and when necessary we will include a eyehole screw in the head portion of the replica. This allows for easy and quick installation. Pedestal mounting is an available option, this add on is necessary when using our products for addition to signs, displays or other interior or outdoor use. Pricing for the pedestal option is based on a per project basis.
