Welcome to Mount This Fish Company's Freshwater Fish Mount category. Within this category you will find many of the saltwater fish replica species that we produce. For over 20 years Mount This Fish Company has been providing avid anglers and outdoor loving decorators with fiberglass freshwater fish replicas also known as replica fish mounts.
All of our two-sided Freshwater full mounts are made of fiberglass for a lifetime of enjoyment and are hand crafted to represent the fish you caught or to showcase the fishes alive and lit up look as if it was swimming in the ocean. Everything you see while the Freshwater full mount is hanging on the wall is painted. The backside of the mount that is touching the wall or not viewable is actually painted black. These mounts are not intended to be hung from the ceiling.
Our Freshwater half mounts are anatomically correct half fish replicas that are intended to be displayed on the wall. A half-sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two-sided wall mount, aka full mounts, molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount. Restaurants, marinas, seafood outlets and many other marine base businesses have decorated their spaces with our half sided fish replicas for the past 20+ years.
Our Freshwater 3D mounts are the ultimate fish replica option. Not only are they anatomically correct but they are also completely finished on all surface areas. These fish mounts are intended to be hung from the ceiling or attached to a pedestal, all depending on the customer’s application. We can create pedestal bases for customer’s wanting to display the 3D fish mount on a table or shelf or we can put eye holes and drill small holes into the topside fins for the customer’s that are wanting to suspend the 3D replica.
