Bluefin Tunas are extremely powerful fish that grow very large. This Bluefin Tuna fish mount is part of our half sided series. A half sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed on the wall, the circumference of the half mount is either touching or very close to the wall. Producing a half mount cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount. Bluefin Tuna Mount Paint Schedule

Blue to steel black above, silvery white below, and yellow finlets. Like other fish, bluefin tunas can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job includes the above mentioned features. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. We do not custom paint our half sided series replicas.

Half Mount Installation

Your new Bluefin Tuna half mount will arrive with a resin hanger attached to the backside of the half mount that runs parallel to the ground. This allows easy installation once you receive your new fish mount. Hold the half mount up on the wall, mark the spot where the hanger touches the wall, drill in a couple screw or hammer in a couple nails and then hang your new Bluefin Tuna half mount. If you are intending to put this outside permanently we do have some additional hardware options. Please contact us prior to ordering to discuss those costs.

Because of the size of this bluefin tuna it requires a crate to safely transport from our factory to your home or business location. Feel free to email or give us a call if you would like to obtain a shipping quote prior to ordering. Our crating department is extremely experienced in crate production assuring you of its safe arrival. In the rare instance that something does go wrong during transit from us to you, we will cover all charges on returning the Bluefin tuna mount and either produce a new replica for you or fix the damage if its possible to do to where no damage is noticeable.
