67" Hammerhead Shark Full Mount
This 67" Hammerhead full mount, which we call a two-sided wall mount, is extremely realistic with the skin texture that was captured during the molding process. Hammerhead Sharks are known for the distinct shape of their head with their eyes located on either side. This is thought to give them greater sensory perception while swimming in the waters. The Hammerhead Shark mount is a full-body wall mount that has been positioned like it was swimming with its mouth open. The Hammerhead Shark was molded off an actual Hammerhead Shark and makes a perfect centerpiece for any home, marina, a special man cave, or restaurant setting. Hammerhead Shark Mount Painting Schedule
All our two-sided Hammerhead Shark mounts are made of fiberglass for a lifetime of enjoyment and are hand-crafted to represent the shark you caught or showcase the shark as it was alive, swimming in the ocean. Hammerhead Sharks can alter in coloring. They tend to range from light grey to dark brown with sometimes a greenish appearance on top, with a white underbelly. Depending on whether you are commemorating a catch or just looking for decoration, we can either custom paint your new Hammerhead Shark mount from your picture or you can give our artists creative ability to paint them to their liking. You can email your picture to General Email Address. We custom paint our Hammerhead Shark mounts as well as custom paint the eyes, to give a realistic look to your new trophy. Our production team takes the time to notch out rips and tears that your Hammerhead Shark might have. The final step is to clear coat the Hammerhead Shark replica with a UV Protectant Urethane clear coat allowing you to hang it indoors or outside. We do offer an outdoor bracket for installation in areas that might have high wind or potential to get bumped.
Hammerhead Shark Replica Shipping Process
Once you place your order, our packaging team will carefully package the mount to ensure a safe journey from us to you. We are proud to boast a less than 1% damage rate but should for any reason this shark mount arrives to you less than 100% perfect, please let us know right away and we will remedy the situation accordingly. Some of the Hammerhead Shark mounts will ship regular ground shipping, but the larger Hammerhead Shark replicas must be crated and then shipped on a freight truck. Over the years, we have developed the perfect crating system that provides enough protection to provide a safe transit from our place to yours without having to create a solid plywood framed crate which would be extremely heavy and extremely expensive to ship. Instead, our crating system utilizes 1x4 furring strips with angle braces and 2-ply cardboard which delivers a lightweight crate with superior protection. Please contact our experienced team ahead of placing your order if you would like to obtain a rate quote to see the cost of shipping prior to your purchase.
Hammerhead Shark Mount Installation Process
Our easy to hang bracket arrives already attached to the backside, balance point of this shark mount. After removing this shark mount from the packaging, hold up the shark mount up on the wall where you would like it to live and then mark the spot where the hanger is on the wall. Then, drill in a screw or hammer in a nail and the bracket will easily hang on the nail or screw head. The easy level bracket also allows you to display your new Hammerhead replica on the wall at pretty much any angle. The bracket has 5 sawtooth grooves that the nail or screw head in the wall can hang on, creating a different balance point which allows you to point the head up toward the ceiling or down toward the floor, depending on which groove the head is in. We also offer an outdoor bracket for installation in areas that might have high wind or potential to get bumped.

More About Hammerhead Shark:
Deriving their name from the distinct shape of their heads, the Hammerhead Shark is easily recognizable. Their heads are formed in the shape of a hammer, with their eyes located on the sides. The positioning of their eyes gives Hammerhead Sharks a complete 360-degree vision allowing them to see above and below simultaneously. Compared to other shark species, they have a considerably smaller mouth. Hammerheads like to skim the bottom of the ocean and their diet consists of stingrays, squid, octopus and other fish. Although they are usually alone while hunting at night, Hammerheads can be found swimming within schools of other Hammerheads during the day. Hammerhead Shark lengths can vary between 3 and 20 feet as well as vary in weight between as little as 6 pounds to up to 1200 pounds. Hammerhead Sharks are migratory with the seasons, preferring warmer waters in the cooler months and cooler waters in the summer months. Hammerheads have a more aggressive mating style and a less nurturing motherhood style compared to other sharks. In mating, the males will bite the female until they are submissive enough to mate. After birth, female Hammerheads have nothing to do with their pups and leave them to fend for themselves. As a result, the baby Hammerhead sharks stick together and migrate to warm waters and will do so until they are large enough to make it on their own. Unfortunately, Hammerhead fins are popular to eat in certain parts of the world and oftentimes they will be caught, their fins will be cut off and they will be released back into the waters, alive. This is fatal to the Hammerhead and because of this practice, the Hammerhead Shark is at an increased risk of extinction.

Hammer Head Shark
Very nice just wish the top of the mount would’ve been painted more. Paint is dry then there is almost no paint on the very top edge. The rest of the fish is beautiful.
