39" Steelhead Trout Half Mount

This Steelhead Trout half mount is new and now part of our half sided series. A half sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount.

Steelhead Trout Mount Paint Schedule

Steelhead trout are commonly found in the ocean but travel into lakes, streams and rivers in across North America during spawning season. They look similar to Rainbow Trout except for the shape of their mouth. Commonly they are caught displaying greenish brown backs with pinkish to reddish sides bands and covered in black spots. Like other fish, Steeleahd Trout can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job includes the above mentioned features. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. We do not custom paint our half sided series replicas.

Each fish mount in our half sided series arrives with a fiberglass hanger on the backside of the fish mount. This allows easy installation once you receive your new fish mount.
