35" Goliath Grouper Half Mount

This goliath grouper fish mount, previously known as a jewfish, is part of our half sided series. A half sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount. 

Goliath Grouper Mount Paint Schedule

This goliath grouper rules the reef. This replica portrays a juvenile Goliath Grouper which is a common catch while fishing around bridges and ledges in South Florida. At this size, goliath groupers are normally a little darker then their adolescent relatives. Giant goliath grouper are often bright yellowish/goldish compared to the brownish coloring of juveniles. Like other fish, goliath groupers can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job includes the above mentioned features. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. We do not custom paint our half sided series replicas.

Half Mount Installation

Each fish mount in our half sided series arrives with a fiberglass hanger on the backside of the fish mount. This allows easy installation once you receive your new fish mount.
