This blackfin tuna fish mount is part of our half sided series. A half sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount. Blackfin Tuna Mount Paint Schedule

Blackfin Tuna are a highly sought after gamefish for their fighting ability. Blackfin Tuna are found in warmer waters around South Florida, Bahamas, Cuba, and the Caribbean, blackfin tuna are normally have a brown stripe on the top part of the eye with dark blue and black back, silver and grey sides, and a whitish belly . Like other fish, blackfin tuna can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job includes the above mentioned features. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. We do not custom paint our half sided series replicas.

The mount was incredibly realistic,the one issue is it had pock marks in the painting/ finishing. Not that big of a deal because hardly noticeable. But I work In a manufacturing plant,so it's my job to look for things like that. Have ordered from you before and will continue, overall it is incredible,and my wife loves it.thank you for what you do,God bless and happy holidays!
