This beautiful 33" Flounder full mount, which we call a two sided wall mount, is extremely realistic with the skin texture that was captured during the molding process. Flounder are found on ocean bottoms all around the world. They are part of the flatfish family that include gulf flounder, southern flounder and fluke.
Flounder Mount Painting Schedule
With all our full mounts we encourage our customers to send in a picture of their catch so we can paint and replicate to match that fish. If you don't have a picture of your catch our normal process is to paint a standard gold, brown and black base tone coloring with white spots and speckles mixed throughout. The final step is to clear coat the Flounder replica with a UV Protectant Urethane clear coat.
