25" Rainbow Trout Half Mount

This Rainbow Trout half mount is part of our half sided series. A half sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount.

Rainbow Trout Mount Paint Schedule

Rainbow trout are commonly found in lakes, streams and rivers in Northern North America and in Asia. They are commonly caught displaying greenish brown backs with pinkish to reddish sides bands and covered in black spots. Like other fish, Rainbow Trout can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job includes the above mentioned features. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. We do not custom paint our half sided series replicas.

my 4th mount from Mount this! plenty more to come, can actually own my memories, fish I caught years and countries ago. 7 trips planned in near future. You guys rock. A little swag would be nice for a returning customer, bumper sticker, something to spread the word..........

I really appreciate your half mounts. The body and size of this 1/2 mount matched a fish I caught in WV this past Spring. I was able to add some patterns and have a great memorabilia at a great price point. I have about four of your mounts now. 3 are 1/2 mounts and 1 a full. They are always realistic looking. Being a catch and release angler it makes sense to be able to get good fiberglass replicas.
