3D Spotfin Hogfish Mount Description

This two sided fish replica was created with fiberglass from molds cast off a Spotfin Hogfish giving it the same realistic texture of traditional skin mount fish taxidermy. The fish replica is then finished on both sides and airbrushed to showcase the natural color it would have in the water. These full mount fish replicas are the ultimate in home, office or nautical decoration.

Fish Mount Painting Schedule

Our talented paint specialists paint each 3D fish mount to give a natural, alive look relative to the region of the fish. We do have the ability to custom paint from picture reference. If you would like us to do so we recommend providing us with a photograph of the caught fish so we can airbrush accordingly. After placing your order please send your picture to info@mountthis.net

Fish Mount Length

Each replicas overall length is determined by measuring from the tip of the mouth (or bill) and running along the lateral line to the fork in the tail and then to the edge of the tail. All length measurements have the possibility of being off by a small percentage since we are fabricating in fiberglass using a grinding technique.

Fish Mount Shipping

Once your Spotfin Hogfish mount is complete, our packaging department will take the time to carefully package your new fish mount so that it can be shipped to you without damage. With a damage rate of less than 1%, we are confident that our fish mount packaging process is leading the fish mount industry.

Fish Mount Installation

This replica can be easily hung with monofilament or cable.

Items must be received back to the Mount This office undamaged. We recommend using the same box, bubble wrap and any other items the mount was packaged with in order to ship it safely.
