Cow Dolphin are a sought after game fish around the world with many different names. In Hawaii they call them Mahi Mahi and over in California and Mexico they are called Dorado. We like to call them Green Hornets when Marlin fishing as they pile in and wreck our spread while in search for the big Blue Marlin.
All of our two sided Cow Dolphin full mounts are made of fiberglass for a lifetime of enjoyment and are hand crafted to represent the fish you caught or to showcase the fishes alive and lit up look as if it was swimming in the ocean. Everything you see while the fish mount is hanging on the wall is painted. The backside of the mount that is touching the wall or not viewable is actually painted black. These two sided wall mounts are not intended to be hung from the ceiling.
Our Cow Dolphin half mounts are produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount.
Cow Dolphin 3D mounts are intended to be suspended from the ceiling and are completely finished on all sides for 360 degree viewing. 3D dolphin replicas are suspended by attaching either a heavy monofilament, string or light gauge wire to small holes in the top dorsal fin and top portion of the tail and when necessary we will include an eye hole screw in the head portion of the replica. This allows for easy and quick installation. Pedestal mounting is an available option, this add on is necessary when using our products for addition to signs, displays or other interior or outdoor use. Pricing for the pedestal option is based on a per project basis.
