Normally permits have a bluefish grey back that blends to a silver side with unique yellowish/gold markings at the beginning of their anal fins. They also are known for their big juicy pink lips! Like other fish, permits can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job includes the above mentioned features. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. With all our full mounts we encourage our customers to send in a picture of their catch so we can paint and replicate to match that fish, assuming its not been dead for hours and lost its vibrancy. Installing Your Permit Replica
