If you have been searching around the internet looking for in stock fish replicas it is most likely that you have been finding production times of anywhere from 30-90 days. Well sometimes you just cant wait that long, right?
The fastest way to get fish mounts is to purchase them already produced, painted and ready to ship. We try to keep a good selection of in stock fish mounts in our In Stock Category. We might not have what you are looking for since it seems like as fast as we can make our in stock fish mounts they are flying off the shelf. That's why we created our Quick Production line of fish mounts.
What we do is cast the blanks out of our molds ahead of time on our most popular items we sell. When a customer orders one of these mounts we pull the blank from our loft here in our warehouse and finish assembling the eyes and a few fins and prepare the mount blank for finishing (priming, painting and clearing). This allows us to produce these mounts in 1.5 to 2 weeks compared to 40-45 days. It also gives us the ability to produce a mount in only a couple days for the customer who needs it yesterday.
There is no difference in all between our Quick Production and our regular 40-45 day production fish mounts, just the fact that we have done all the glasswork ahead of time allows us to produce it faster.
You might think, why does it costs less to get it quicker, that doesn't sound right? The fact that we are able to produce 10 or so blanks at a time using the same molds allows us to be more efficient with both our labor and supplies. We pass those savings on to you.
