Fish Mount Accessories allow you the customer to upgrade your new fish mount (or existing one) to better showcase it in a natural scene or instead more like a trophy. Our fish mount accessories including tumbled cedar driftwood, baitfish, wood panels and custom plaques. Each type of accessory can be used in different scenarios. Here are a few for you to consider:
Wood Panel With Brass Plate
Did you finally catch the trophy fish that you have always wanted? Then you may want to consider our Wood Panel With Brass Plate accessory option. This is a wood panel we produce in house. We hand select quality pine panel boards, cut them to size, route the edges, stain the panel to your choice of three stains; Golden Oak, Walnut or Red Oak and then spray a urethane clear coat on the panel so that the stain colors are bright and vibrant. We add two hangers onto the back, position your fish on the panel, put a screw in the panel where it will attach after you receive your new panel and fish mount and our final step is to attach the brass plate to the wood panel in a position where it is easily readable up on the wall, which is normally in the space under the chin or under the area between the anal fin and tail. The brass plate is 2" x 4" and we recommend up to 4 lines of text with up to 28 characters per line. More lines and characters are available however the font size will be smaller and harder to read when placed on the wall.
Fish Mount Driftwood
We are proud to offer some of the finest tumbled cedar driftwood in the industry. These pieces of cedar are cut from the roots of the cedar tree and plained on the backside for a flush placement on the wall. The pieces of cedar driftwood are tumbled with river rocks to remove all bark, fibers and unwanted materials leaving a smooth, beautiful piece of driftwood. Our driftwood comes in 3 sizes; Medium, Large and Extra Large. Each size is available in either a vertical placement or a horizontal placement. We attach one hanger on the vertical pieces and two hangers on the horizontal pieces and if you are ordering the driftwood with a fish mount from our website then we also add the hanging screw into the driftwood so that when you unpack your new piece of driftwood and your new fish replica all you will need to do is put one or two screws in the wall where the driftwood will hang and then put up each piece. It is extremely simple.
Baitfish Replicas
Whether you decide to choose a driftwood option or a wood panel with brass plate option, adding a baitfish replica can really spruce up your new fish mount from Mount This Fish Company. With just one little replica your new predatory fish mount will be showcased as a feeding or chasing scene on your wall. We have a variety of species for you to choose from and all our baitfish replicas come with an easy to use push pin wire mount that allows you to position the baitfish replica where you would like and at any angle.
Fish Mount Plaques
Our fish mount plaques are completely customizable with your trophy catch information, company logo or pretty much anything you can provide the artwork for. Our fish mount trophy plaques allow the angler to commemorate a special catch by displaying that information on the plaque and then showcasing the plaque next to the fish mount up on the wall. Normally this option is chosen to accompany large fish mounts such as Marlins, Sailfish, Sharks and Tarpons that are unable to go on driftwood or a wood panel.
