60" Swordfish Half Mount

Fish Mount Guarantee This 60" right facing swordfish half mount is part of our half sided series. This half mount replicates a swordfish in the 30 to 35 pound range and was measured at 60 inches in overall length from tip of bill to end of tail. A half sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount.

Swordfish Mount Paint Schedule

We paint our swordfish to look "lit up" and alive as if it was swimming on your wall. Swordfish are known for their purple tinted skin that can range from dark purple to a bluefish base color with a purple tint. Like other fish, swordfish can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job includes a purple color that falls in the middle of the purple spectrum. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. We do not custom paint our half sided series replicas.

Half Mount Installation

Each fish mount in our half sided series arrives with a fiberglass hanger on the backside of the fish mount. This allows easy installation once you receive your new fish mount.

I put this mount in my backyard along with a few other mounts from here. They get lots of compliments. The colors are spot on. They are so lifelike, people cannot get over them.

What a great decor item! I call my great room my "Hemmingway" room and it is decrated as such. My swordfish arrived and I about fell over! It's perfect, as described and so helps define my Hemmingway room. Count on me buying a few more replicas. More people should consider your fish mounts for their decor!
