Yellowfin Tunas are known for their exploding, arial strikes on baits and their delicious table fair. Yellowfin Tuna are a highly migratory species and can be found throughout the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans and into the Caribbean waters.
All of our two sided Yellowfin Tuna full mounts are made of fiberglass for a lifetime of enjoyment and are hand crafted to represent the fish you caught or to showcase the fishes alive and lit up look as if it was swimming in the ocean. If you are purchasing a Yellowfin Tuna replica to commemorate a catch, we encourage you to send a picture of your catch. We custom paint our Yellowfin Tuna full mounts and we even custom paint our eyes to give a realistic look to your new trophy. Our production team even takes the time to notch out rips and tears that your Yellowfin Tuna might have. For customers who do not have a photograph or are just purchasing for decoration, our normal process is to paint blue to steel black above, silver to silvery gold on the flanks, silvery white below. In fresh fish a band of bright gold or iridescent blue (sometimes both) runs along the upper flank, separating the dark back from the lighter belly area.
Our Yellowfin Tuna half mounts are produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount.
3D Suspension & Pedestal Mounts
Our Yellowfin Tuna 3D mounts are the ultimate fish replica option. Not only are they anatomically correct but they are also completely finished on all surface areas. These fish mounts are intended to be hung from the ceiling or attached to a pedestal, all depending on the customer’s application. We can create pedestal bases for customer’s wanting to display the 3D fish mount on a table or shelf or we can put eye holes and drill small holes into the topside fins for the customer’s that are wanting to suspend the 3D replica.
