3D Striped Bass Mount Description

This striped bass suspension mount is cast using a mold that was made off a world record striped bass. The world record has since been broken but this fish is still quite an impressive specimen. Both sides of the fish have very good scale relief and both gills are flared open so we can insert artificial gills. We custom paint the glass eyes to give a realistic eye appearance.

Fish Mount Painting Schedule

Whether you are ordering this item as a decorative piece or if you have actually caught a giant like this, we can paint to reflect an alive striped bass or we can reference your catch picture. We also understand the difference in color schedules depending on whether you are catching these sportfish in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Carolinas or anywhere on the East Coast. After placing your order please send your picture to info@mountthis.net if you would like us to reference when painting.

Fish Mount Shipping

Once we have your fish mount finished, our packaging department will take the time to carefully package your new fish mount so that it can be shipped to you without damage. With a damage rate of less than 1%, we are very confident that you will receive your item damage free. Of course mistakes do happen and if damage does occur we will handle the claim and have another made for you right away.

Fish Mount Installation

This replica has two small holes located on the top dorsal fin and top of the tail, allowing you to easily hang with monofilament or cable.

This item, as are all of our replicas, are always available for a local pick up if you happen to be traveling through Central Florida. Feel free to call us at 321.403.6677 during our normal office hours of 9am-5pm EST for directions or to set up an appointment.

Items must be received back to the Mount This office undamaged. We recommend using the same box, bubble wrap and any other items the mount was packaged with in order to ship it safely. Shipping and handling charges will not be reimbursed or credited back to the customer. A restocking fee may apply.
