40" Bull Dolphin Half Sided Fish Mount Replica

This bull dolphin fish mount is part of our half sided series. A half sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount.

Dolphin fish, also called Dorado or Mahi Mahi, normally depending on your geographical location, are one of the most sought after gamefish in the world. Their excellent table fare, exciting bait crashing bites, and fairly easy catch ability make them a preferred target for many offshore anglers. Colors on dolphins normally include yellow, greens and blues and can also include hues of gold and orange and many iridescent colors and don't forget the spots, sometimes a couple dozen, sometimes hundreds. Like other fish, bull dolphins can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job is a blue to green to yellow blend with many different colored blue toned dot patterns. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. We do not custom paint our half sided series replicas.

I found this mount for a really good price online and I wasn't expecting it to be such good quality! I opened it and found that it was extremely light weight so I could install in myself no problem, and the detail on it is spectacular! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I would also like to mention that my mount is only a half, however from all angles you can't even tell. They designed it perfectly to look full even from a far side angle. Absolutely amazing!!
