Redfish Mount Description - SOLD
This beautiful 29" right facing redfish full mount, which we call a two sided wall mount, has incredible relief on this scales and was molded off a perfect specimen. This fish mount is extremely realistic, including custom painted eyes on both sides of the head and great skin texture that was captured during the molding process.
Fish Mount Painting Schedule
We painted this redfish to have the same deep, rich copper coloring as if it was cruising through the backwaters or Louisiana or the shallow flats of the Mosquito Lagoon. We airbrushed a very typical single spot on the upper portion of the tail and highlighted the edge of the tail with the iridescent blue that many redfish will have when tailing through the flats, eating crabs and shrimp. We incorporated the slight edge that runs from his nose to the top of his gill plates and finished the painting process with an iridescent candy pearl paint to give this beautiful fish mount that extra special touch. The pictures you see in this listing are the actual pictures of the fish replica you will receive.
Shipping Process
Our packaging department is extremely experienced in packaging replicas to ensure a damage free shipping. Our packaging process includes the use of heavy duty, double corrugated cardboard, bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and box supports, assuring you of its safe arrival. In the rare instance that something does go wrong during transit from us to you, we will cover all charges on returning the catfish mount and either produce a new replica for you or fix the damage if its possible to do to where no damage is noticeable.
Redfish Mount Installation Process
Our easy to hang bracket arrives already attached to the backside, balance point of this fish mount. After removing this fish mount from the packaging, hold up the fish mount up on the wall where you would like it to live and then mark the spot where the hanger is on the wall. Then drill in a screw or hammer in a nail and the bracket will easily hang on the nail or screw head.
