26" Southern Stingray Full Mount
This 26" southern stingray half mount is actually a replica of a mature southern stingray positioned as if it was cruising sand covered ocean floors looking for prey. This Stingray measures 26" wingtip to wingtip. Southern Stingrays travel throughout the western Atlantic and the Caribbean and is a member of the whiptail stingray family. Unlike cownose rays they travel in pairs or alone.
Southern Stingray Replica Paint Schedule
This particular ray is painted in the natural coloring but a little more vibrant gold. Southern rays can range from a lighter or grey coloring to a darker golden color. OurSouthern Stingray paint scheme is more on the golden brown side as you can see. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside.
Installing Your New Souther Stingray Mount
Each Southern Stingray replica will arrive to you with an easy to hang bracket on the backside of the replica. Hold the mount on the wall, mark the spot where the bracket touches the wall, drill in a screw or hammer in a nail and then hang your new mount. The "easy level" bracket will allow you to position the mount parallel to the ground or pivoted so that the mount is either swimming to the left or right. The choice is yours!
