The cedar roots have been tumbled in water and gravel to remove bark, dirt and debris, then sawn lengthwise. Red Cedar is a natural bug repelant so there is no need to treat the wood. The wood is very dense, holds screws and hangers securely and is easy to work with. The unique character of each piece is individual to itself.

Return Policy*: We are proud to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on our products. The customer must contact our office within 7 days of receipt of product to get a return confirmation. Items must be received back to the Mount This office undamaged. We recommend using the same box, bubble wrap and any other items the mount was packaged with in order to ship it safely. Shipping and handling charges will not be reimbursed or credited back to the customer. A restocking fee may apply.

Way better than expected!
The cedar root appears to be made to fit my fish mount. I absolutely love it!! Perfect! I had imagined I would have to install my own hangers in the back plus the screw to attach my mount. What a GREAT surprise to find everything already done! I feel like the crew at Mount This! personally went through their stack of wood and found the perfect match to my fish. I definitely feel like I had personal, individual service. Thank You!!
